	Honor our Military Weekend (September 22nd and 23rd) *Military families can enjoy all of our Fall activities for FREE this weekend!** Also for every general admission ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the Trees for Troops program. This cause was started in 2005 by Christmas tree farmers to provide free Christmas trees to military families of all branches across the United States and abroad. In 2009 more than 16,000 trees were delivered to service personal, for more information visit TreesForTroops.org. *immediate family only, valid ID required
	5K Run / 2-Mile Walk September 22 - Stokoe Farms First Annual Trees for Troops 5K! Join us for a run through the trees with a 5K run, 2 mile walk or 1 mile kids scavenger hunt in support of Trees for Troops. All registered runners and walkers will receive one VIP ticket to Stokoe Farms Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Fest. Sign-ups begin June, 2012. For more information contact, trees4troops@stokoefarms.com.
	Wildlife Defenders in cooperation with Bridges for Brain Injury (September 29th and 30th) Come join us opening day, Saturday, September 17 to support Bridges for Brain Injury. Members of Bridges for Brian Injury will explain how they have benefited from the training and caring of the animals. Wildlife Defenders will have over 25 exotic animals on hand to entertain and educate from 11 am to 5 pm.
	Corny the Clown (check back for dates) Corny and his clown tractor will entertain young and old with his crazy tractor antics!
	Celebrate 100 years of Scouting (October 6th and 7th) Stokoe Farms recognizes the strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for America's youth. We celebrate this legacy and commit ourselves to inspire and prepare future generations. Click here for special discounted admission for Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Youth Groups.
	Come and Pick the Perfect Pet! (Please check back for a date) Scottsville Veterinary Adoptions will have cats, kittens, dogs and puppies available for adoption. Visit their web site at www.petadoption.cc or call 889-8340 for more information.
